Our Vision
Despite many new inventions and diversity of services available, medical practices remain mostly traditional and unchanged. The main change in medical practice that has occurred over the last decade is that doctors spend less and less time with their patients.
Patients wait for weeks for their appointment day then spend another two to three hours in the doctor’s office. Pressed by poor insurance reimbursement physicians are trying to compensate by seeing more patients a day which significantly decreases the patient satisfaction with the visit and doctor’s satisfaction with his work.
Our goal is to provide convenient care in a timely manner to prevent illness from getting out of control. We believe we can prevent hospitalizations, severe exacerbations of chronic diseases, long trips to emergency rooms and reduce the cost of medical care.
We have portable equipment for EKGs, pulse oximetry, urinalysis, blood pressure monitoring, rapid tests for infectious disease, etc. If blood tests are needed our nurse will collect blood samples that will be transported to the laboratory. If x-rays are needed the patient will be referred to the nearest x-ray facility. ModernDay HouseCall physicians will provide follow up on all laboratory tests and x-rays.
